Bug Festival!
Research Steps:
1. Adopt your insect!*please ensure your mini beast is not too rare
2. Critical Challenge Question: Why is your bug the most important/beautiful/adorable/ annoying/ugliest/most stealthy insect predator/bug on the planet? (I encourage you to create your own question)
3. Write 5 leading questions.
4. What do you already know about your bug?
5. Note taking/research: no writing while the source is open! 3 key words for each idea*at least 2 pages of notes, can be electronic, you choose the format
6. Decide a way to demonstrate your knowledge such as:
- PowerPoint presentation(*12-15 slides, see Mrs. Rudolph for criteria)
- Photo Story
- Prezi using Prezi.com
- A colourful poster!
- A scrapbook*you need to supply your own or make it
- An insect promotional brochure
- An insect book
- An Entomologist’s report/magazine/newspaper using Microsoft Publisher
- A game with game board
- Children’s book
