Students are planning their own story settings (time, location, context, and atmosphere) and turning their ideas into a four-paragraph \u201cpitch\u201d for a studio.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Math:<\/strong> We\u2019re practicing different multiplication strategies and checking that our answers make sense.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Science:<\/strong> We\u2019re reviewing types of matter. Students are learning to sort matter into elements, compounds, and mixtures, and to tell the difference between physical and chemical changes.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Social Studies:<\/strong> We\u2019re learning about worldview: what it is, and how it shapes the way people see the world.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Core Competency Focus: Gratitude<\/strong><br \/>\nThis month we\u2019re focusing on gratitude.
